UNIVERSITY OF MATARAM
The University of Mataram (UNRAM) is a university organized under the Ministry of National Education, based in Mataram City, West Nusa Tenggara Province.
In its development, until the academic year 2011/2012 Mataram University has 9 faculties. The four faculties established after the Faculty of Law are the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) on April 25, 1981. Then the Faculty of Engineering, this faculty was established based on the change of status of Mataram High School of Engineering (STTM) into Civil Engineering Study Program dated November 8, 1991.
Date 21 October 1993 officially stands the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Mataram. The last three faculties were Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) and Faculty of Medicine, August 25, 2007 and August 25, 2007 respectively, and Faculty of Food Technology and Agroindustry dated February 4, 2012.
Like other university campuses in Indonesia, Mataram University has a variety of campus facilities such as UPT Library (3 floors with books collection and Journals published in and outside the country), UPT Pusat Komputer (Puskom), which later changed its name to UPT Technology Center Information and Communication (PUSTIK), UPT Language Center, UPT Workshop, and SME or Student Activity Unit that is expected to foster students mental.
The Unram Student Community can undertake various useful activities through available SMEs. Besides, there is also a Student Dormitory as a residence for general students.
